AWS Cloud Engineer (Contract)
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands Country: Netherlands
Join our client's organization as a Senior Cloud Engineer and be at the forefront of global cloud transformation. You'll play a pivotal role in transitioning from traditional data centers to the public cloud, driving adoption of cloud-native application designs. As part of the Engineering Platforms team, you'll collaborate closely with DevOps teams, utilizing your expertise in AWS and Python to develop and maintain the AWS platform. Your responsibilities will include building security automations, driving automation through CI/CD pipelines, and providing support to DevOps teams on their cloud journey. Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field (eg, B ICT)
- Minimum of 2 AWS certifications (Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Specialty AWS Certifications)
- 4+ years of experience with AWS development
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with Kubernetes, IP Networking, Linux, Azure DevOps, databases, and monitoring/logging tools
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and design patterns
- Experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git, and cloud monitoring solutions (eg, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS SecurityHub)
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English
Advantageous:
- Experience with Big Data Solutions
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, and certificates
- Familiarity with various application architecture patterns
