Location: Luxembourg Rate: EUR500 - EUR550 per day

One of my client is urgently hiring for a SQL/Oracle RDBMS Architect. Its a fully remote role. Have to be onsite only for the 1st week in Luxembourg office. Below is the job description. Please apply for immediate consideration.

Duration: 6months + freelance contract with extensions possible

Job type: Remote. Have to be onsite only for the 1st week.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Architect/DBA with a deep understanding of Oracle RDBMS to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Server databases while also possessing strong proficiency in Oracle RDBMS.
  • This role requires not only technical expertise but also the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative database solutions that meet the organization's needs.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Architect/DBA, with a strong focus on database design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS, including database design, administration, and performance tuning.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server features and capabilities, including stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with database migration, replication, and high availability solutions such as clustering and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
  • Experience with SQL server applications and supporting components, including SSIS and SSRS.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.
  • Experience in mentor IT staff and database design
  • Experience in assessing and introducing new technologies to improve operation of database infrastructure.
