DevOps Engineer

Whitehall Resources require a DevOps Engineer to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.

*This is a hybrid role - with on site work in South London expected 2-3 days per week.

*The successful candidate will be required to operate through and FCSA accredited umbrella company.

*Candidates will be required to be eligible for SC clearance to be considered for this position, and candidates with active SC clearance are preferred.

DevOps Engineer

Must have Technologies:
The must have requirements centre around the base technology platforms that we build all our infrastructure:
. AWS
. Cloud Formation or Terraform
. Nginx
. Linux administration
. Packer
. Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)

Skills:
. Working within an agile context with the use of CI
. Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
. Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
. The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
. The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.

Nice to have:
. Kubernetes
. Docker
. Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)
. Other networking technologies

- Overnight production deployment - once in a month requirement: A resource needs to work overnight to do production deployment once in a month
