System Architect

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires System Architects to be based at their client's office in London, UK.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 2-3 days per week .

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP.

Day rate: Competitive Market rate.

Job Role

• A System Architect with expertise in designing complex systems working closely with various stakeholders.
• Should play a key role in an IT landscape transformation program for a leading UK airlines group.

Key Responsibilities

• Definition of system's purpose, scope, goals and constraints.
• Align the system vision and architecture working closely with Solution and Functional Architects, Business Analysts and Technical leads.
• Managing the system changes and proposing and implementing the best possible solution.
• Leading the system development team throughout the project life cycle.
• Managing the technical artefacts, developing knowledge base, identifying process improvements and propose, help develop solutions.
• Communicating system architecture, features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of IT technical architecture.
• Technical expertise - C, C++, Java, J2EE, Springboot, AWS, Terraform, DevOps, Python.
• Business acumen - Airline domain knowledge preferable

• Leadership skills
