My client is looking for a Head of Data to play a key role in an organisation-wide data strategy transformation. Experience in a similar role is essential along with a track record of successful delivery in a large Data Change or Data Transformation programme.

Head of Data Role and Responsibilities:

- Define and drive a data strategy transformation according to organisational objectives

- Lead the transformation towards a new data architecture across the organisation

- Oversee the organisational drive to design, develop and deploy a new suite of data solutions

- Manage all cutover efforts within the full data transformation

- Take responsibility for all BAU activities as well as Change programme management

Head of Data Skills and Experience:

- Significant experience in an Interim Head of Data role or similar is essential

- A proven track record of leading successful Transformation or Change programmes in Data Engineering or Data Analytics

- Experience of delivering large, organisation-wide Data-centric solutions at scale, on-time and within budget

- A technical background in data architecture, data warehousing or data integration would be ideal

- Experience in a large Public Sector environment would be a distinct advantage

This is a leadership role with a focus on successful delivery. This is likely to be achieved by adopting a collaborative approach with different teams and functions across the organisation. Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong supplier management skills will also be needed.
