Automation Tester (Contract)

Location: Leeds Country: UK Rate: £550.00 per day
 

Front-End Automation Tester - Automation - Typescript - Playwright - 6 months - £550 (Inside IR35) - Leeds - Immediate Starters

This is an opportunity to work with one of the UK's most successful broadcast providers. It will be a chance to work with some of the latest technology on the market.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to plan, create and maintain automated tests
  • Good experience implementing test automation for APIs and UIs
  • Experience writing code in Typescript or similar languages
  • Experience working with Playwright or similar test frameworks
  • Good problem solving and debugging skills
  • Experience working with CI/CD platforms
  • Exposure to Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud/AWS
  • Experience working with Bash/Terminal.
  • Experience working with GitHub or any other source code version control tool
  • Non-functional testing experience is a bonus

Other Requirements:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Good communication skills, ability to work closely with Developers to form requirements, refine A/C, and create test cases
  • Good understanding of the Testing Pyramid
  • Ability to write documentation/How To guides
  • Adhere closely to software engineering principles throughout the SDLC
