Senior Java Engineer

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Senior Java Engineer to be based at their client's office in Brighton, UK.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Brighton office 2-3 days per week .

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

Job Role

  • Lead Java Backend Engineer to work on Payment Network domain.
  • You will be leading team of talented engineers who have expertise on Java 11, Kafka, Springboot, Microservices and Mango DB etc.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Expert level on Java 11, Kafka, Springboot, Microservices and Mango DB etc.
  • Strong hands-on and coding experience.
  • Strong CICD, DevOps and Cloud skills.
  • Strong Design and implementation experience.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.

Person specification

  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills, Facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead team
