My client is looking for a skilled Data Specialist with a strong background in configuring and managing Servers, as well as designing and deploying platforms using SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, Tableau Servers, and MS PowerBI services.

This role involves significant experience and in-depth knowledge across various reporting platforms and Datamodelling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Servers for SAP BusinessObjects BI platforms, Tableau Servers, and MS PowerBI services.
• Design and deploy robust BI platforms utilising SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
• Create sophisticated visualisations using SAP BusinessObjects BI, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into technical designs.
• Apply data quality and cleansing techniques with a good understanding of Azure Synapse.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to support BI platform requirements.
• Develop data models and structures using Snowflake, Business Objects Universes (UDT/IDT), Tableau, and adhere to associated design principles and standards.
• Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and write test plans.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands on Platform configuration
• Experienced facilitating workshops with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into technical designs.
• Strong experience designing and developing visualisations using relevant reporting platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platform, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) ways of working, including writing and refining user stories.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including Agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
