Location: Windsor Country: UK Rate: £600 - £650 per day
 

Job Title: Programme/Project Manager

Location: Windsor, 1 day per week Onsite

Remuneration: £600 - £650 per day

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, a leading organisation in the Security sector, is seeking two Programme/Project Managers to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. With a strong track record in delivering successful projects, our client offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within their organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall ownership of the project plan, budget, and scope, ensuring the delivery of business outcomes and benefits within the specified time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation to develop a project vision, business case, scope, budget, and plan to achieve project objectives.
  • Align the project with key business objectives and the company's strategy, ensuring it contributes to overall success.
  • Establish and lead effective project governance, making informed decisions, resolving conflicts, and providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across project workstreams, implementing necessary mitigating actions.
  • Optimise return on investment by considering all options and alternatives throughout the project life cycle.
  • Drive senior stakeholder communications and change management activities to ensure smooth integration and benefit realisation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal functions and third-party suppliers, managing delivery and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with quality standards, change methodologies, and governance standards set by the Planning & Performance team.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, including contingency arrangements, to meet project commitments.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the project team, fostering collaboration and driving successful outcomes.
  • Conduct quality assurance and health check reviews of projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Programme/Project Manager, delivering complex projects with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational abilities, inspiring teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey key messages.
